Middle School Newsletter 3.6.2023
I have always known that we have something very special here at PCS. I also think I am biased…especially after working here for 23 years. It is always special when I can share this beautiful place with those close to me. On Friday my fiance, Chris, attended the Variety show with me. He was beyond impressed with the organization of the event, the courage the students displayed while displaying their talent and the overall support everyone displayed.I also had the privilege of hearing what our MS students truly love about PCS. Their responses only echo what Chris was sharing with me. Below are just a few of their responses when asked, “Why do you love PCS”?
I love all of the events we do, such as multicultural fair, peace rally, veterans day assembly, and more.
What I love most about PCS is the diversity. I never feel excluded or like I’m the minority whatsoever. We learn about different lifestyles and cultures constantly, from teachers and just from our friends.
Something I like about PCS is that my grade just feels like a big family or community. Some of us have been here since elementary school and even kindergarten (like me for example), and even though not everyone gets along or even likes each other, these are the same people you grew up with so it makes the people around you feel homey.
What I like most about PCS is that we are an amazing community. I enjoy coming to school to learn and socialize.
One thing I love about PCS (Premier Charter School) is how nice and caring the teachers are.
Our awesome teachers.
What I love the most about PCS is the diversity it shows that anyone and everyone can work together and concur on anything together, and shows several forms/types of leadership with multiple types of brains working together and different perspectives are much better than just many brains that are the same.
I really like how diverse it is and how the teachers really work hard for you to understand what they are teaching.
I also wanted to remind you that this week brings us to the end of the third quarter and offers an opportunity for teachers and families to sit down to discuss student progress during conferences. All conferences will be student led and in person.
Third quarter conferences will give you and your child a clear understanding on how they are doing in their classes as well as have any questions or concerns addressed. Please make every effort to attend your child’s conference.
I hope each of you have a wonderful week and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns or questions.
Kindly,
Kim
