Elementary School Newsletter - May 24th, 2021

Dearest PCS Families,

Happy last week of school!  I hope everyone has a fantastic summer filled with relaxation, reading, & health…. but mostly FUN!  Thank you to each of you for being great partners through this crazy, event filled school year.  We all made it through together and it just shows the awesomeness that PCS emcompasses within our walls and beyond!

Just a few reminders as we finish out the school year:

  • Wednesday is our last day of school.  Dismissal is at 12:00 Noon sharp!  All students must be picked up NO LATER than 12:15.  Please plan accordingly.

  • Report cards will be sent to families via email from your student’s teacher on Wednesday.

  • See below for details on technology turn in:

To prepare for next school year, it is important that we collect any PCS-issued devices along with their chargers. For in-person/hybrid students, we will be collecting those devices on the last day of your student's attendance. For virtual students, we will be providing several windows of time for families to drop off their devices and chargers at building C (between the elementary and middle school). Here are the available times:

Wednesday, May 26: 12pm-3pm

Thursday, May 27: 12pm-3pm or 4pm-7pm

Friday, May 28: 7am-12pm

Read our student technology return policy here.

We WILL be continuing on with the same dress code for next year.  There was some discussion around dress code this year as we relaxed the policy for those students who were in-person learning.  However, we feel that this is a bigger discussion that needs to take place with more people around the table so will be put on the docket to talk about next year for the SY 2022-2023.  So for now, stock up on your khakis and navy shirts!  (Read our student dress code policy here.)

As always, if you have a question, need to discuss a matter, or need a simple check in… my door is always open.  Feel free to contact me via phone or email!
