Elementary School Newsletter 3.4.2024

Dear Elementary Families,

This week we are going to begin administering our Spring Student Survey to our 3rd-8th grade students and wanted to invite you to complete our related Spring Family Survey. We administered similar surveys in the fall and after reviewing responses and gathering additional information from students and families, we implemented strategies to respond to what we heard.  The results from the Spring Survey will give us some information about how much progress we made, where we are doing well and opportunities for continued growth.  Upon completion of the survey, all results will be posted to our website www.premiercharterschool.org

You can complete the Spring Family Survey here.

PCS Multicultural Fair:

The Annual PCS Multicultural Fair will be held April 25. This event is a treasured event for students, staff and our PCS families.  Middle Schooler Olivia S. wrote an article about its significance.

Our annual coin drive is March 4-8. Every cent raised goes toward purchasing books (for PCS classroom libraries and the Impact One library)! Send in your loose change each day of the week (Monday-pennies, Tuesday-nickels, Wednesday-dimes, Thursday-quarters, Friday-your choice). The class that raises the most money will get a pizza party!

Upcoming Dress Down Days:

Elementary students have requested 2 different dress down days that we wanted to make you aware of. On March 14th, 5th graders are hosting a dollar dress down to raise money for 5th grade camp. On March 29th, our Teeny Ten group is hosting a dollar dress down day to raise money for beautification efforts in our building (money will go towards materials for murales and plants and more!). 2nd-5th graders are invited to dress down on these two days and can bring a dollar to their teacher's to collect.
