Elementary School Newsletter May 2nd 2022
Welcome to May and the final month of school. We are still finishing MAP testing and have a lot of learning left to do, but we also have some time to have fun and get outside with our kids. We have a lot to look forward to over the next few weeks and I can't wait to enjoy every minute that we have left supporting our students.
Cultural Fashion Show!
Time to show off your culture!
We are interested in learning about traditional clothing from different cultures. We invite students to participate in this year’s cultural fashion show at the Peace Rally on Thursday, May 19th at 9am.
If your child is interested in the fashion show, please let us know.
Please contact any ELL teacher if you are able to help out! Or email Mrs. Wagener, mwagener@premiercharterschool.org

Aim High 2022 - attention current 5th grade students
It’s that time again! Summer is quickly approaching and it is time for us at Aim High to start gearing up for the summer 2021! We are looking to recruit students currently in the fifth grade to experience our enrichment summer program. Aim High is a four-year, five-week summer enrichment program for those students who need a little extra support emotionally and academically. The students will take the four core classes, and have opportunities for physical fun and lots of hands-on learning. We partner with SLPS, Normandy, Ritenour, and University City school district in hopes of supporting students to graduate from high school and exploring post-secondary educational options. For more information about our program, please visit our website at www.aimhighstl.org.
In an effort to respond to the needs of many of our community members, recruitment will be done virtually again this year. Use the link provided below to access the recruitment video. This year, replacing the in-person recruitment presentation, Aim High St. Louis will offer our champions and partners access to the Aim High St. Louis Recruitment Video for you to share with your students. The video will offer the students a ‘virtual’ look into the Aim High community. If your school community is able to host a live recruitment session and you would like to have us in, please let me know and we will set up a live recruiting date.
