Elementary Newsletter October 17th 2022

This upcoming weekend is the Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat. Things are a bit chilly this week, but as I write this, the weather looks great for the weekend. I hope everyone has a great time! Also, the first quarter is ending this week and we look forward to seeing you at conferences next week! Your kiddos have been working hard, and we look forward to speaking with you about their progress.

Meet Nurse Wilson:

Over the next few weeks, we will be profiling some of our staff in the Elementary Building so that you can get to know some of the folks that get to work with your children day in and day out.

My name is Virginia Wilson and I have been a nurse for almost 14 years! I graduated from Lindbergh High School! Let's Go Flyers! I then went on to Missouri Western State University where I studied to become a nurse! I finished my nursing studies at Goldfarb school of nursing! I have done a few things with my degree but am most proud of working in the Cardio-Thorasic ICU, Neuro ICU and the Emergency room! I love all things nursing and am very proud to take care of our students and staff. I got to marry my high school sweetheart Andrew Wilson Sr and together we have four beautiful babies: Olivia 14, Andrew Jr 9, Charlotte 7, and Ryan 3! We are die hard Cardinals, Blue's and Chiefs fans......except my husband, he loves the Rams, I do not know what is wrong with him! For fun I like to travel with my family and or get lost in a book! My sincere honor is taking care of people! I love what I do!

Nurse Wilson also wants to let you know about the following upcoming events...

  • Center for Hearing and Speech 10-31 thru 11-3 (entire school will be screened for hearing)

  • Kids Vision For Life 12/7-12/8 (entire school will be screened for vision)

  • Kids Vision For Life 1/17/23 (kids who fail vision screening will go on van for glasses)

  • Dental Dental- Coming Spring 2023
